Several public and subsidized insurance programs are available to Minnesotans at little or no cost. Here is how to find out what you qualify for.
- Medical Assistance (Medicaid): Free health coverage for low-income adults, children, seniors, and people with disabilities. No monthly premium. Covers doctor visits, hospital stays, and prescriptions.
- MinnesotaCare: Low-cost coverage for adults and families who earn too much for Medical Assistance. Small monthly premiums based on income.
